Travel into Aalborg
By Air
- Cimber Sterling, Norwegian and SAS have flights from Copenhagen to Aalborg, while Cimber Sterling and Norwegian also offer international direct flights from European cities.
- There is a bus service (Service 2 or 22in the evening) to Aalborg Central Bus Terminal/Railway Station – and it takes approximately 20 minutes. Service 2 can also take you to the campus of Aalborg University A single journey ticket costs DKK 18. You can also use a Klip Kart for two zones, which is DKK 118 for 10 journeys.
- A taxi fare to Aalborg Central Bus Terminal/Railway Station will be in the region of DKK 160.
By Rail
- Aalborg is on the Copenhagen, Roskilde, Odense, Aarhus Line. 4½ hours/about DKK 330 to Copenhagen
- Aalborg City Station is located next to the Aalborg Central Bus Terminal near the City Centre.
By Road
- By road, Aalborg can be reached most immediately from Aarhus and Germany via E45 northbound to Aalborg; from Frederikshavn use the E45 southbound to Aalborg; from Hirtshals you can come via E39 southbound to Aalborg.
